Honoring the connection to and journey through the micro to the macro.

Offerings

Mariah is currently offering harm reduction services to support clients in their health and happiness. The harm reduction services include a consultation, preparation session, facilitated journey, and optional integration session. The consultation will happen over a phone or video call. The preparation and integration sessions may take place over Zoom or meeting in person outside of a service center. The facilitated journey will take place at a licensed Oregon Service Center. Reviewing the OHA fact sheet or this beautiful comic can be helpful in understanding Oregon’s framework thoroughly. Before taking first steps, it is helpful to remember that Oregon requires clients to be 21+ in order to access services.

Consultation

A consultation is a free 30 minute session for the client to ask questions and determine if a psilocybin journey is right for them at this time. The consultation is an opportunity to for us to decide if we are a good match and should proceed to next steps. If you decide you want to proceed, but feel a different facilitator would serve you better, I am happy to refer you to someone that would align with your needs or intentions.

Preparation

Expect a series of preparation sessions to be around 3 hours in total. Typically in installments of 60 or 90 minutes. During these series of sessions we will review paperwork, answer questions, and give in depth information on how to prepare oneself for the journey.

Facilitated Journey

The state requires a client to stay on site at a service center for a different minimum duration of time depending on dosage. It is reasonable to expect the journey to take around 6-8 hours depending on a variety of factors. Mariah takes a non-directive approach and is there to support you on your journey inward. Read more about Mariah’s background and approach in the About page. Mariah also provides snacks, beverages, flowers, and art supplies to enjoy during the journey.

Integration

Integration sessions are completely optional, although they are highly recommended. These sessions can help the client weave the insights from the journey into their daily life instead of having the experience being an outlier. When a client opts out of integration sessions Mariah will attempt to make a list available of relevant external integration resources.

Micro to the Macro Fees

An inclusive package of preparation, journey facilitation, and integration services for a bundled price. We will discuss your budget and I will do my best to accommodate. Prices will vary for new clients, returning clients, couples, group sessions, and a client who is having multiple experiences in one week.

Additional ~60 minute preparation or integration sessions are available for $80.

Accepted payment methods: cash and ACH payments that would be fulfilled through an electronic invoice. Credit cards can be used to make a payment with the electronic invoice, but the client will have to pay the additional 3% processing fee. Additional payment methods may be made available in the future.

Service Center Fees

Service Centers have their own fees for the rooms offered and products sold. Mariah is currently working with Chariot.

It is reasonable to expect the service centers to charge $400-$800 per individual session for space rental. Some service centers will charge fees for each additional person.

Product Fees

Manufacturers, the companies that grow the mushrooms, send their product to labs for testing. Labs determine the amount of psilocybin that is in each batch, measured in milligrams. Different strains contain different amounts of psilocybin. If you are used to thinking of doses in terms of dried weight, it might be helpful to know that the rough ratio is 1 mg psilocybin to 100 mg dry mushroom. This is not precise and will vary with each strain. The service center Mariah currently works with charges about $7 per mg. The product fee also has an additional 15% tax.

Financial Assistance

If you are ready to go but are having financial barriers to access there is potential assistance available. One organization to explore is the Psilocybin Access Fund. There are other organizations that exist and some that are in the works. Additionally, Mariah has a handful of sessions per year where she offers significantly reduced rates for those who qualify. Mariah’s reduced rates are available to those who identify as someone in the priority communities listed by the OHA. The priority communities include clients who are veterans, receiving social security income, receiving food stamp benefits, or are enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan.
